The old Ottoman bath was known as ‘Crashi hammam’ which means market bath. The building consists of an area where the bather prepares, which leads to the man bath with alternating heat and steam, a tradition dating back to Roman times.

The Eski Hamam bath was built in the 16th century and is considered as an ancient monument.

It has replaced a previous building of the Venetian Period, the foundations of which, as estimated by archaeologists, are buried under the floor of the existing building.
